Kick Gambling Streamer xQc has been kicked out of Canadian casinos
Popular online streamer xQc, known for its gambling and video game content, was recently kicked out of a Canadian casino. xQc recently moved from Twitch to Kick for a nine-figure sum.
The Canadian streamer, whose real name is Félix Lengyel, was removed from the casino while celebrating his birthday with his family. Later he went to X to share his experience.
According to his tweet, security officers approached him and dragged him out of the casino. The anchor asked casino security for an explanation. Then he learned he was blacklisted for gambling somewhere in Quebec.
The ban covers all forms of provincial gambling, including online gambling and lotteries. The reason for the ban stems from an article published in Radio-Canada last year in which xQc admitted to being addicted to gambling.
Gambling Addiction
The article also details the case of a local man who was influenced into gambling after watching an online live broadcast of xQc.
Quebec City resident Enneric Chabot has been following xQc for years. In 2021, he watched an episode of streaming gambling on Stake.com. Chabot reportedly had never gambled before and decided to open an account on the gambling platform. Chabot developed a gambling problem and filed for bankruptcy after racking up debt.
The incident sparked debate among fans and the gaming community, raising questions about the intersection between online entertainment and real-world consequences. xQc, has built a massive following through his gaming antics on platforms like Twitch and Kick.

Million Dollar Contract
Kick, which is part-owned by Stake.com, is proud to announce it will spend heavily to attract streaming talent. The company backed up its claims a few months ago when it signed a lucrative content deal with xQc worth up to $100 million.
The non-exclusive agreement is based on a $70 million payday for xQc, which could grow to at least $100 million over two years if certain milestones are achieved. The deal highlights the growing influence and value of premium content creators and highlights the fierce competition among streaming platforms for exclusive partnerships.
The non-exclusive nature of the agreement means xQc can continue to provide content through Amazon-owned Twitch. His base salary is reportedly at least $3.4 million annually, not including his endorsement deals.
