Third-tier league - Jahn coach Enochs expresses optimism about promotion prospects after a 2-2 draw.

Coach Joe Enochs from Regensburg's team declared that they will put up a tough fight against SV Wehen Wiesbaden in the crucial second leg after a fierce relegation round. "It's going to be a heated match," predicted the US-American coach in anticipation of the third-division team's visit to the Hessians on Tuesday night (8:30 pm/Sat.1 and Sky), determined to escape relegation from the second division.

Following a goal by Dominik Kother in the 80th minute to draw the match 2-2 (1-0) on Friday, the American coach's confidence in promotion hadn't decreased; instead, it "grew." Enochs remarked, "When you play a first half like that and come back like that, it boosts the team's morale. We showed that we can match Wehen Wiesbaden's performance."

In truth, the third-division side had the upper hand throughout the match in front of 13,378 spectators, and deservedly led at halftime thanks to Noah Ganaus' opening goal. However, the guests flipped the script after three substitutions with Robin Heußer and John Iredale, eventually resulting in Kother's decisive strike: the 24-year-old left footed it past the goalkeeper. "It felt amazing," Kother described his "significant goal" and was raring for another challenge: "Now there's a last battle in Wiesbaden."

Nils Döring, the interim coach, is elated to be back on the sidelines for the home team's match. "Spectating in the stands was completely unfamiliar - I can imagine better scenarios," he said of his passive spectator role in Regensburg. "I'm excited to be back down here on Tuesday." Döring predicts a challenging relegation match, which could potentially go to penalties. "It's going to be a nerve-wracking game," considers Döring.
