Jackpot: Lucky Atlantic City slot machine winner will take home $1.26 million
Last week, a player at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City won more than $1.26 million on slot machines.
The mysterious visitor is from Texas. This was his first time at a resort casino hotel.
He played the progressive slot machine IGTWheel of Fortune 4D Collector's Edition and won $1,265,086.80.
Thursday’s jackpot is the resort’s largest jackpot so far this year. It's also the first time since September 2021 that the hotel has won a jackpot of more than $1 million.
The resort hotel and casino opened in 1978. It has over 1,300 slot machines and numerous table games.
Won $727,000 at Michigan Casino
A Michigan man recently won $727,277 playing slot machines at Gun Lake Casino. It's a record payout for gambling companies in Wayland, Michigan.
The guest, known simply as "John," is a resident of Granville, Michigan, and won the prize on August 25.
Progressive payments are made via Light & Wonder’s “Ultimate Fire Link Explosion” machine.
At Gun Lake Casino, we are pleased to pay out more than $727,000 to our lucky guests from across West Michigan,” casino general manager Jose Flores said in a statement.
Gun Lake Casino opened 12 years ago. It is owned by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Potawatomi Indians (Gun Lake Tribe).
The gaming facility features more than 2,500 slot machines, 47 gaming tables and a poker room.
Gun Lake Casino broke ground last year on its $300 million 15-story hotel tower and six-story Aquadome tower. This is a domed swimming pool and entertainment center. It is scheduled to open in March 2025.
Win Nearly $10,000
A guest at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino recently won $9,999.99 at a slot machine off the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas.
The unnamed player won the prize on August 29.
This person found three Lucky Seven symbols on the Double Gold slot machine.

Orleans Casino $94,000 Bonus
Last month, a mystery gambler won more than $94,000 while playing slot machines at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Boyd Gaming was announced as the winner on August 29th.
It is played on the IGT Triple Hot Ice progressive slot machine. The player bets $5.
No details were provided.
Orleans is home to more than 2,600 slot machines. It also features video poker and video keno machines, table games, a poker room, and a keno lounge.
