Unanswered query about a starting goalkeeper - Is Kunz set to depart from Jena?
A top-performing goalkeeper for regional league club Carl Zeiss Jena, Kevin Kunz (32), has been at the club for two years. His contract is set to expire soon.
Throughout his time at the club, Kunz has allowed only 61 goals in 63 games, earning him the title of "player of the season" chosen by the fans during the 2022/23 season.
Working closely with head coach René Klingbeil (43) and goalkeeping coach Nico Hinz (38), Kunz managed to maintain a clean sheet in an incredible 26 matches. He only allowed a goal in a single match since the change of coach halfway through last season.
Rumors suggest a possible goalkeeper rotation at Carl Zeiss Jena.

Could this be the end for Kunz?
After the recent 3:3 draw against Berliner AK, Kunz said, "Jena is my first choice. I could see myself staying here for longer and sharing my experience."
However, he hasn't received any concrete offers and other clubs in the Regionalliga Nordost have been eyeing the Jena goalkeeper for quite some time.
So, what does the future hold for Kunz and Carl Zeiss Jena?
