Illegal action or offense - Intruder tumbles off balcony, landed in the hospital.
A 24-year-old man who was caught during a break-in in Bonn received severe injuries during his attempted getaway. This incident took place early on a Wednesday morning as the young man managed to make a noisy entry into an apartment in a multi-story building. The sound alerted a resident of the shared flat, who was woken up by the noise. The intruder tried to flee by climbing through the kitchen window to an adjacent balcony on the second floor. He menacingly brandished the kitchen knife from the shared flat at the resident, but lost his grip, fell, and landed awkwardly. He managed to run for a short distance before collapsing on the ground, sustaining major injuries.
The man, who was arrested on the scene, is currently receiving medical attention in the hospital. Police are scrutinizing his past and determining if he is connected to any other criminal activities.
