Wide-eyed widow stunned by shocking incident - Insurance firm mails correspondence to deceased René Weller.
Looking back: René Weller, a boxing legend and two-time European champ with nine German titles, passed away in August 2023 at 69, following a prolonged illness. His wife, Maria, tenderly took care of him till the end in Pforzheim, Baden-Württemberg.
She shares, "Once he passed, I naturally told the health insurance company."
The Mhplus Health Insurance Company sought an extra 20 euros for a patient transport and only dispatched the bill to Pforzheim now. It was labeled for, "the heirs of René Theo Weller". According to Maria, that's how the boxing stud's name must be inscribed. However, the greeting in the letter read, "Good day, Mr. Weller."
