In October, a newborn girl was found at the Heidberg Clinic in Hamburg-Langenhorn. A trauma surgeon discovered the girl in a hospital washroom on the 4th of October, as the police revealed on Tuesday. Police are trying to identify the individual who left the baby at the hospital, using a picture of her sleeping bag as evidence. It appears the little girl was in good health and had only been alive for less than 24 hours. Authorities suspect that she wasn't even born at the hospital. Following a careful examination, the children's and youth emergency service took the baby into their care after a brief period at the hospital.
