He was responsible for numerous collisions. - Inebriated motorist detained following dangerous joyride.

A man from Belarus had consumed a lot of alcohol throughout the day in Sondershausen. Around 6:40 PM on a Wednesday, he got into his Mercedes with a blood alcohol level of 1.2 and began driving. Moments later, he crashed into the rear of a VW on Cannabichstraße, slightly injuring the driver.

Undeterred by the accident, the man sped away, causing more chaos on the roads. He appeared to intentionally collide with another car in Sondershausen, forcing other vehicles to either brake harshly or swerve to avoid a collision.

Heading towards Nordhausen, the Belarusian's Mercedes swerved into the opposite lane, nearly causing an accident for a woman driving with her child. Quick thinking from the following driver helped avoid a collision. However, his car was hit from the side.

Undaunted, the man continued, causing multiple accidents along the way. Eventually, the Mercedes collided head-on with a VW, completely demolishing it and causing significant damage to the Mercedes. The Belarusian's efforts to escape were thwarted when police managed to slow down the damaged car before it could reach the Nordhausen freeway exit.

The driver, still determined to avoid capture, put up a strong fight. A police officer was injured in the process. After being subdued, the man was handcuffed and taken away from the scene. He couldn't provide a driver's license, leaving a trail of destruction in his path.

The man's criminal actions won't go unpunished. He will likely face charges for hit-and-run accidents, driving without a license, drunk driving, assault, and resisting law enforcement officers. The two people injured on this "kamikaze tour" will also likely file a civil lawsuit against him. And with six destroyed cars, it seems he has a long list of debts to pay.
