"Motsi Mabuse, known for 'Let's Dance,'" - "Incorrect dimensions, not incorrect bodies"
"Let's Dance" panelist Motsi Mabuse (43) possesses an infectious personality: Her boisterous laughter, sunny spirit, and most importantly, her confidence in her body.
Recently, she debuted her first underwear collection, "Colors of Motsi," featuring vibrant colors, high-quality materials, and an unprecedented 70 different bra sizes.
Motsi's mission statement: "There are no wrong bodies, just wrong sizes."
Believe it or not, this confidence is decades in the making. Until 2014, Mabuse (German Latin dance champion, among other honors) had been a professional dancer, engaging in high-performance athletics while constantly scrutinizing her weight and dance capabilities.
For years, Mabuse weighed 50 kg - a weight she found insufficient for her dance instructors years ago, as she shared in an interview.
Today, with greater life experience, self-assurance, and a nearly 6-year-old daughter to care for, Motsi perceives the world differently. She champions healthier attitudes over the relentless pursuit of thinness in today's world.
Motsi's mandate: "I want every woman to feel at ease and assured in her body. Unconcerned about shape, age, or background."
Thus, a resounding yes is earned by the right bra! Which hue does Motsi (real name: Motshegetsi Mabuse) gravitate towards wearing under her performance costumes?
She candidly reveals: "I find black an ever-reliable classic. I also think deep purple and gray tones are sexy. Beige, however, seems less desirable except for shapewear, in my opinion."
