Following torrential rains, 15 cellars in Bergheim close to Cologne were flooded on Friday. Per fire department updates on Saturday, certain roads in the Büsdorf district were rendered unpassable due to water and mud accumulation. A firefighter sustained minor injuries from an electric shock. The fire department expressed gratitude towards the locals who pitched in with manual labor, providing shovels and wheelbarrows to aid in the cleanup efforts.
