He would have much rather enjoyed a triumphant night at the roulette table over this ordeal.

Stunned reaction in Las Vegas. - In a hotel room, a scorpion bit a man's testicles.

California resident Michael Farchi claims he was attacked by a scorpion in his Las Vegas hotel bed, leaving him with unbearable pain in his private areas. Now, he's taking legal action against the hotel.

Farchi's nightmare happened a few months back when he and his family visited "The Venetian" in Las Vegas around Christmas time. That's when the alleged incident occurred, as he slept in the hotel.

He recalls the experience to KABC: "I woke up in the middle of the night with an intense pain in my private parts. I didn't know what it was at first. I reached under the covers to find out what was going on. Then I got stung again by the tiny creature."

Farchi estimates he was stung three to four times during the ordeal. Upon discovering the scorpion, he grabbed it by his underpants and took pictures of his tormentor. He then rushed to the hospital due to the severe pain he was experiencing. He's still dealing with health issues months later, according to his own account.

It's unclear what type of scorpion attacked Farchi, but the photos he and his lawyer released seem to show a small creature only about one centimeter in size.

Scorpions invading residential areas

Farchi informed the hotel's staff about the incident, but they didn't compensate him in any way. He's now suing the hotel for an undisclosed sum. His lawyer Brian Virag shares his thoughts: "No guest should have to endure life-threatening scorpions when they sleep, especially in the most sensitive areas like their testicles."

Recently, there have been multiple reports of scorpions found in homes in the Las Vegas area. The intense heat has caused the creatures to seek refuge indoors. Residents from Mountain's Edge and Southern Highlands (south of Las Vegas) have noticed their houses being infested with the venomous arachnids.

Due to the danger these creatures pose, it's becoming increasingly important for people to be aware of their presence and take measures to protect themselves.
