In 2024, Formula 1 race tickets in the gambling hub of Las Vegas will become markedly more budget-friendly.

In 2023, the Formula 1 race in Vegas was a major experience in the city recognized for its gambling scene. However, not everything was perfect during the first reintroduction since 1982. One of the issues was the exorbitant ticket costs. To make the event more accessible for fans, the organizers have revamped the pricing for the 2024 race.

Liberty Media, the organizers of the upcoming Grand Prix in Vegas, are committed to including everyone in the exhilarating event. To make this happen, they have restructured the ticket pricing.

The lowest priced ticket last year cost an impressive $900 (around €838). But this year, another segment will be introduced with tickets starting at $150. A whopping 10,000 tickets belong to this price bracket.

The ticket backlash from fans motivated the revamp. Some fans were already hesitant about the costly renovations in Vegas.

What are the cost of F1 tickets in Vegas 2024?

A look at the official event website [English] reveals the following ticket options for next year's race:

  • General Admission: from $150
  • Grandstands: from $1,500
  • Premium Clubs: from $3,500
  • Private Suites: upon request

These categories are further divided for more options with even pricier versions. The race will span several days, and the cheapest tickets are those for the practice sessions. Alternatively, the qualifying sessions and the actual race will cost more.

Although the variety of options and price points is seemingly more diverse this year, it remains to be seen if the intended crowd of 315,000 spectators from the previous year will be matched or surpassed.

No last-minute, forced ticket sale in 2024?

Last year, ticket prices were unexpectedly reduced just before the event began to reach the desired capacity.

It seems Liberty Media is aiming for a different ticket model for 2024, thereby avoiding any last-minute prices slash. Whether the 315,000 spectators from previous years can be matched or exceeded is yet to be seen.
