Second Prominent Championship Event - Important details about the 2024 PGA Championship.

From May 16th to 19th, golf fans can anticipate the second major tournament of the season in Louisville, Kentucky after the Masters held in Georgia. This is the next big event for golf enthusiasts.

The four major tournaments are essential for any golf fan. Every year, these events take place in the USA and Great Britain. The US Masters is the first in April, followed by the PGA Championship in May, the US Open in June, and the Open Championship in July. When a golfer wins all four tournaments, they're said to have achieved a Grand Slam.

Interesting trivia: Bobby Jones is the only player who's ever won a Grand Slam, accomplishing this feat in 1930.

Following his victory at the US Masters, attention shifts to Scottie Scheffler (27). Will he continue to shine in the second major tournament?

Organized by the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of America, this annual event features the best players in the sport. In 2024, the tournament will take place at the Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky.

Unlike the other major tournaments, the PGA Championship doesn't include amateur golfers. To participate, golfers must have previously won a major championship or qualified through a different PGA tournament.

Where can you watch the 2024 PGA Championship on TV?

Tune in to pay TV channel Sky (ad) or catch the live stream on WOW (ad) from May 16th for an exciting battle to win the coveted Wanamaker Trophy. Some of the top professionals competing in the PGA Championship include defending PGA champion Brooks Koepka (34), as well as Rory McIlroy, golf legend Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, and Masters winner Scottie Scheffler, among others.
