Was the accent too thick? - Impolite allegations made against "Bauer sucht Frau"
In Austria, Nicole (49) and Angelika (31) fiercely compete for the affection of forest worker Gerfried (51). They strongly disagree on who is more suitable for Gerfried. As per Angelika, Nicole is way too old for any farmer. She believes a younger woman would be a better match.
On the other hand, Nicole chastises Angelika, "She's fighting for his attention and genuinely goes all out for it."
Another controversy arises outside the limelight of the cameras. Angelika narrates the event, "We were getting ready to work on the farm when Nicole suddenly began yelling at me." Nicole's version of events has a different spin, "I just told Angelika again that she was speaking sluggishly. Her Austrian dialect made it difficult for me to understand her clearly."
The argument doesn't lead to a resolution. Both women feel they're in the right. Angelika laments, "I'm taken aback by what just happened." She doesn't want some stranger jeopardizing her day. Ultimately, Gerfried had enough of the catfight and demands, "Can we focus on the essentials again? Me!"
In Togo, emigrant Philipp (42) believes he can select between his farm ladies Caro (28) and Susanne (38). However, the situation takes a turn. Unexpectedly, Caro dumps Philipp. She's felt uncomfortable around him for some time. Caro candidly opens up to Philipp about her feelings, "To be brutally honest, I don't really like him as a person." She just didn't realize it before.
This leaves the path clear for globetrotter Susanne.
One person is now eliminated from the dating round: Cocoa farmer Andreas (63) admitted he was actually married. He only joined the competition to promote his social projects. RTL removed the cheating candidate from the episodes.
