Famous figure Laura extends her talons. - I want to violently attack Sima.
For a few weeks, these two powerful women were gearing up for their anticipated battle at the Fame Fighting Challenger on May 24th. Previously, it was assumed that this encounter would be quite athletic. Being a former gymnast, Laura is well aware of the rigors of intense workouts. Sima is also an accomplished athlete.
However, the lines between a strictly sporting event have since blurred - things have become highly personal between the two girls.
During the Challenger's media conference, Laura initially spoke with a calm demeanor, stating, "Anyone who knows me knows I don't enjoy causing tension, and I was genuinely looking forward to it being an extremely sporty match because I don't know Sima personally."
But suddenly, her anger erupted, revealing the source of her fiery motivation. "To clarify, I follow your YouTube videos. I'd like to say I had no problem with you, but I'm even more eager to fight you now that I've seen your true character."
What Laura was referencing
"Specifically, including phrases like 'We're going to beat you retarded,' which was said by your trainer but doctored into your video- something that I find highly unacceptable. I'm now prepping to fight someone where it's no longer sporting, but I'm also bringing my own personal issues into it."
How Sima responds to her bold remark
"To be honest, when I'm in the heat of the moment during an adrenaline rush, I'm in a different head space. That offending video was the result of an unwise choice of words, but it was simply because I was so thrilled and pumped up at the moment."
Laura was unsatisfied with this apology. She considered it unprofessional, especially for a coach, and couldn't wait to teach Sima a lesson on May 24th.
