Carlo von Tiedemann returns home after successful heart surgery. - "I need to relearn how to walk"
Carlo von Tiedemann managed to recover from his illness and returned to his residence close to Hamburg. During his stay at the medical facility, modifications were made to the place to make it more accessible.

Despite the abundance of staircases in his house, his daughter Victoria (20) has installed handrails everywhere. However, the TV presenter still needs to learn how to walk again as he relies on a rollator currently. He commented, "I'm not afraid of it; it's just how things are. I'm still undergoing training and physiotherapy, with my physiotherapist Tosca visiting me frequently."
In addition to that, he has been spending his time reading in his room. His ultimate ambition is to resume his career in hosting on NDR Schlager. He stated, "I've made up my mind to do that."
His family is the primary source of support for him. He remarked, "Without them, my life would come to a halt. My wife Julia assists me along with Victoria." Von Tiedemann is married to his current wife, Julia (58), since 2012, and fondly is referred to as "Julchen." He expressed, "I wouldn't have achieved what I have without her. Julia is the love of my life. And I'm especially grateful for her help, particularly during this tough time."
