French Open Tennis Tournament and Copa America Soccer Competition - Hürzeler maps out his summer plans.

St. Pauli's Known Coach Fabian Hurzeler (31) has been bringing the heat in recent days and weeks. His energy seems endless. Yes, he needs a break now as well.

But, if it were up to Hürzeler, his break wouldn't involve anything but sports. Just like in the winter when he watched a few games in the English Premier League, he plans to do something similar this time.

Hürzeler discussed his plans on Rock Antenne: "We haven't yet decided on a vacation. There was little time for that." But then he revealed his plans: "The only thing I want to do is the Copa. That's why I'm heading to the US." He added, "And definitively the French Open."

This is how Hürzeler plans his summer:

What he means is two prestigious international sporting events. The French Open tennis tournament takes place in Paris from May 26 to June 8. It's just around the corner, but Hürzeler might not arrive before then, especially since he still has some appointments in Hamburg.

Interestingly, the Copa América, the South American championship, will occur in the US from June 20 to July 14. This is a replacement for the original hosts Ecuador. Apart from the US, five other teams from North and Central America will be participating: Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, and Jamaica.

For Hürzeler, this is a bit like a homecoming, as he was born in Houston in 1993 when his parents were working there. Remarkably, the preliminary round matches between Mexico and Jamaica (June 22) and Colombia vs. Paraguay (June 24) will be held in his hometown.
