UEFA uncovers twin players. - HSV fans transform into marketing icons
Two avid Hamburger SV (HSV) fans make their way to the spotlight!
These siblings, immobilized since their early years due to a disability, are often referred to as "jack-of-all-trades." The duo from Lübeck have attended 33 out of 34 (Marcel) and 32 out of 34 (André) of all HSV matches in their respective stadiums during the recently concluded season. Together with their parents Susanne and Uwe, they embark on a journey to where their beloved team plays.
Now, a well-known beverage brand has discovered the Frickes. Both twins are now promoting their products in connection with UEFA Euro 2024. What's more, they recently participated in a panel discussion in Berlin on "inclusion and accessibility in sports."
André Fricke on his modeling gig in front of the camera: "It was a blast for us to be part of it." The dynamic duo from the Baltic Sea refrain from divulging the specifics of their paycheck, but they do disclose: "The funds will contribute towards refueling our family's vehicle." As a way for their parents to afford further joint trips to football games.
The Frickes are set to make their return for the supporters soon. André: "We'll be attending all three Germany's group-stage games in the European Championship." That means the games against Scotland (14.6./Munich), Hungary (19.6./Stuttgart), and Switzerland (23.6./Frankfurt).
However, that's not all. They will also catch three group matches of the Euro at their hidden sanctuary, the Hamburg Volksparkstadion: Netherlands - Poland (16.6.), Georgia - Czech Republic (22.6.), and Turkey - Czech Republic (26.6).
For the month of July, the Frickes have no set plans. They are eagerly anticipating where they will facilitate two training camps with coach Steffen Baumgart (52).
