Hotel Goat Head Incident: Accused Bigot Placed Goat Head in Hotel Freezer in Las Vegas

A 27-year-old man named Hunter Holman, hailing from North Las Vegas, was taken into custody last Thursday due to a series of racially motivated incidents over the past few months at various hotels in Las Vegas and a gym in Arkansas.

Holman is accused of leaving a goat head and an assortment of knives in a hotel freezer, as reported by the hotel management. The reason behind this odd deed remains unclear.

It's claimed that Holman made a statement to a hotel employee, saying he considered himself the leader of the KKK, as reported by local TV station KLAS.

Holman is said to have made threatening phone calls to another hotel, identified as the Extended Stay of America by KSNV. During the first call, he threatened to kill someone, and during the second call, he identified himself as the grand master, according to police.

Holman was taken into custody for hate/bias crimes on February 23. His court appearance is scheduled for March 30.

Further charges against Holman include threatening Black members at Esporta Fitness Center in Little Rock, Ark., on February 9, where he was armed with an AR-15-style rifle. Arkansas authorities alerted Las Vegas police about this incident.

Prior charges stem from an altercation on July 9 when Holman allegedly used racial slurs towards a group of Black people on a sidewalk near the Las Vegas Strip. He allegedly approached the group and later physical assaulted a man in the group, who in self-defense and defense of his family (including an 8-month-old baby), utilized a pocket knife to inflict a few wounds on Holman.

Holman sustained injuries during the altercation, including a wound near his navel. Following this incident, he was charged with two counts of assault using a deadly weapon influenced by bias or hatred, one count of child neglect or abuse, and a single count of bias or hatred-related offense. He later denied making any racial slurs during the incident, according to police.

In addition, Holman has previously threatened employees at his former job, Vegas Stronger, and used a racial slur, as reported by KSNV. At some point last year, Holman also claimed to be Jesus and an FBI agent, according to KVVU.

Former Las Vegas Raiders player Henry Ruggs III now has a scheduled date for a preliminary court hearing for charges linked to a 2021 fatal Las Vegas crash. The hearing is set for May 4, with the purpose of determining if there is sufficient evidence for the case to proceed to trial, where witnesses will testify. The hearing was previously delayed seven times.

Ruggs is charged with DUI resulting in death, DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm, two counts of reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm, and possession of a firearm while under the influence. The crash near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway resulted in the death of Tina Tintor, 23, and her dog.

Ruggs allegedly drove at a speed of up to 156 mph before the crash, had been drinking prior to driving, and his blood alcohol level after the crash was twice the legal limit at 0.16%, police said.

A man named Alex Rodriguez-Garcia, 32, was apprehended at Harry Reid International Airport on Sunday morning after officers used plastic bullets to immobilize him. Rodriguez-Garcia appeared to be holding a knife while standing near Terminal 1’s departures ramp. He was charged with assault on a protected person with the use of a deadly weapon and resisting a public officer with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm. After treatment for minor injuries at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Rodriguez-Garcia did not cause any harm to anyone else.
