About three years ago, a man spoke at an AfD election event in Merseburg, Saxony-Anhalt. He proclaimed, "Everything for our homeland, everything for Saxony-Anhalt, everything for Germany." The final phrase in this trinity was initially used by the Sturmabteilung (SA) of the National Socialist NSDAP.
