Karlsruhe, Germany - Tragic Accident at the Cargo Terminal: Man Dies from Electric Shock

Recent inquiries by the Federal Police disclosed that a 35-year-old individual attempted to catch a ride on a stationary steam boiler by placing his bicycle and belongings on it. Unfortunately, this led him to inadvertently touch the overhead power line, resulting in a fatal electric shock.

The Federal Police strongly advises against such actions. The overhead power lines transmit 15,000 volts of electricity, which is 15 times the amperage of a regular electrical outlet. Even stepping within 1.5 meters of this system can be lethal.
