It's evident that only a handful of players from the original 30-man roster at FC Hansa Rostock are left. Those with contracts for the third division are Markus Kolke, Damian Roßbach, Nico Neidhart, and Kevin Schumacher.
Shapourzadeh added, "We currently have seven to eight professional players with ongoing contracts. It's possible more of them might depart. We aim to reduce our squad size."
The loan players, including Junior Brumado, Jonas David, Marko Johansson, Juan Perea, and Jasper van der Werff, are no longer with us. Midfielder Janik Bachmann also announced his exit. Additionally, Nils Fröling and Sveinn Gudjohnsen could leave for fixed transfer fees.
The futures of Oliver Hüsing, Alexander Rossipal (both until 2025), Svante Ingelsson, and Sebastian Vasiliadis (until 2026) are up in the air. Their potential future at a second-tier club is unknown, with Vasiliadis even discussing a move to FC Schalke 04 recently.
The sports director of Hansa declared, "We need players who are passionate about Hansa and entirely connected to the club. It'll be crucial in the third division to exhibit unity."
