A grenade blast resulted in the loss of both of their right legs. - Hamas brides prepare to showcase their wedding dances

"We're getting married. Mark this date: July 25, 2024." Gali Segal (27) and Ben Binyamin (29) shared on Facebook on May 12th. In an interview with "Channel 12" TV, the Israeli pair shared their story: "From the darkness of October 7th, we found a vast love and shared fate."

The architect student and the realtor (together for seven years) were at the Supernova Festival on that fateful day, grooving to electro music, when the Hamas monsters crashed into the grounds, slaying 364 festival-goers. Gali and Ben sought refuge with other rave enthusiasts in an armored police car - until the murderers found them and hurled a grenade at the vehicle.

They were severely wounded - and sure they wouldn't survive the carnage. Ben on "ynet": "I told Gali, 'At least we'll die together' - and kissed her." They then lost consciousness.

They describe their shared suffering as a blessing in disguise. During rehab, they were able to support each other - especially mentally. Ben:

They were transported to a rehabilitation center in mid-November and discharged recently. They now inhabit an accessible apartment nestled near Ben's parents. Gali remarked, "It's unbelievable how we spent six months in the hospital." And they're still attending rehab sessions twice a week.

Numerous festival-goers were shot dead by Hamas terrorists in their cars as they fled

Despite the challenges, they refuse to give in to despair. Ben: "Instead of wondering 'why us,' we think about those who didn't survive - and realize how fortunate we are."

They've learned that life is too short to delay plans. That's why they're getting hitched - on July 25th. Gali on "ynet": "To commemorate our enormous love and the life we've received."

In November, Gali and Ben were discharged from the Hillel Yaffee Hospital and transferred to a rehabilitation clinic

They plan to stroll down the aisle in their prostheses. Gali: "We've already begun rehearsing our contemplative wedding dance."

Yom haSikaron, the day on which the victims of past wars or terrorist attacks are commemorated, was also celebrated at the
