The upcoming release! - Hacking-Hobsch signs with the Lions.

Patrick Hobsch (age 29) is stepping into his father's shoes, Bernd Hobsch (age 56), who also played for TSV 1860 Munich for two years (1997-1999). Patrick is even inheriting his father's jersey number, donning the number 34. He has signed a contract with Sechzig until 2026, with an option for an additional year.

Hobsch joins the Lions from league rivals Unterhaching, where he served as an essential top scorer. In the Regionalliga Bayern, he was the leading goal scorer twice (2022, 2023). He held the top spot for goalscoring in Haching last season, netting a total of 13 goals. That's why Sechzig has been considering him for quite some time.

As the sports director, Dr. Christian Werner (age 43) shares his thoughts on Hobsch: "Patrick is fully equipped to be successful at TSV 1860 Munich. He does more than just score goals; he has a very positive outlook."

Patrick acknowledges the sentiment but notes, "The most crucial aspect for me is that I want to carve my path here, amass my own achievements, and help this remarkable club thrive."

Reminiscing, Hobsch scored the winning goal against Hallescher FC (1:0) last season, saving Haching from relegation. Is there a chance he'll propel them into a different table altogether in the upcoming season?

Curiously, with Hobsch, Fabian Schubert (age 29), Joël Zwarts (age 25), and Serhat-Semih Güler (age 26) as current strikers on the team, it's possible additional players may depart.
