Fresh contradictions reappear. - Habeck disregarded the leading authorities on nuclear power plant security.

In March 2022, officials overseeing the phase-out of nuclear power plants reportedly ignored the expert opinions of the Reactor Safety Commission (RSK), which is a part of the Ministry of the Environment. This commission was responsible for evaluating the safety of Germany's nuclear facilities. At that time, Habeck mentioned "serious safety concerns" regarding their continued operation, but the RSK was not consulted and later fiercely disagreed.

There was evidence at the time that the government believed the power plants had safety issues. RSK members, however, deemed these statements groundless.

Baffling Statements about 'Highest Safety Concerns'

The minutes reveal that Habeck's comment about the "highest safety concerns" was "incomprehensible." This statement did not acknowledge the high level of safety of German nuclear power plants, which is the very reason they are operational. Additionally, it undermines the work of the RSK and other institutions concerned with the safety of German nuclear power plants.

Experts are said to have criticized the fact that the RSK was

To effectively function within the RSK, its members must be involved in critical decisions related to reactor safety by the Federal Government. However, this didn't occur when it came to the extension of the lifespan of German nuclear power plants, despite the RSK having direct, relevant responsibilities.

FDP: Ignoring RSK Damages Habeck and Lemke's Credibility

Allegedly, Nuclear Power Plant Decision Made Prematurely

According to another document, a decision on continued operation should've been made at the end of March 2022, only when a 'reliable assessment' would be possible. But the Ministry of Economic Affairs made the somewhat premature decision to shut down the nuclear power plants in early March - without complete information.

For FDP man Kruse, the disregard for the experts is
