Green Day's Secret Vegas Performance, U2 Lengthens Residency, and Bad Bunny's Vibrant Concert
Just like predicted, U2 has extended their stay at the MSG Sphere, a dome-shaped venue that they opened behind the Venetian on September 29. So far, there have been 25 shows for "U2: UV Achtung Baby", but they've announced another 11 for 2024. The dates for these shows are on January 26, 27, and 31, as well as February 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 15, 17, and 18. Interestingly, two of them fall on Super Bowl weekend!
If you're around Las Vegas today (October 19), watch out for a secret show by Green Day at the Fremont Country Club, a small venue with a capacity of 800 people. You can get tickets for their performances at the "When We Were Young" festival this Friday and Saturday at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. These tickets are now available for purchase on their website.
Green Day didn't seem too worried about keeping this show secret, as they even posted the date and location on their Instagram account on Wednesday.
In other news, Bad Bunny, a popular Puerto Rican rapper, has announced two Las Vegas dates for his "Most Wanted" tour, on February 23 and 24 at the T-Mobile Arena. In order to buy these tickets, fans have to register here by October 22. Live Nation, the organizer, claims that this is to prevent bots and scalpers from grabbing all the tickets. After registration closes, fans will be randomly selected to receive a code allowing them to purchase tickets on October 25.
Lastly, rapper Jack Harlow will put on a free show at The Cosmopolitan's Chelsea on November 16, during the weekend of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. This show is only open to SiriusXM subscribers and Pandora listeners. To ensure entry, though, make sure you RSVP here. Many race week VIPs are expected to turn up, so it might not be easy to get tickets even if you register successfully. There's an asterisk next to the RSVP button, too, reminding us that "terms apply". One of these terms is that "entry is not guaranteed".
