Unforeseen Move! - German soccer stars contribute to food bank efforts

On a Monday morning, Thomas Müller (34, Bayern) and Chris Führich (26, Stuttgart) appeared outside the training facilities. They went to the "Blankenhainer Tafel," where they shared food with those in need. Around 150 people, including many kids, were in attendance and received autographs from the national players. Müller and Führich were ecstatic about the experience and expressed how they brought a lot of food along. Thomas Müller spoke about the handcart filled with food, "Wow, we've brought quite a bit with us." The duo had coffee, noodles, sweets, and instant iced tea to share.

The DFB has more events planned at the training camp this week. The team is staying in Blankenhain (6,600 inhabitants, 30 km from Weimar) until Friday, after which they'll head to Herzogenrath, the training camp's partner, Adidas.

Incomplete Squad for Nagelsmann

Out of the 27-person team, ten players are absent. Manuel Neuer (38, Bayern) is not there due to an infection and will arrive later this week.

Also not present: Florian Wirtz (21, Leverkusen), Jonathan Tah (28, Leverkusen), and Robert Andrich (29, Leverkusen). These players are celebrating the cup and the league title with their team on Sunday and are expected to arrive later.

Missing are Ilkay Gündogan (33), Marc-André ter Stegen (32), who'll play the final LaLiga game for Barcelona against Sevilla on Sunday night.

Last but not least, Toni Kroos (34) and Toni Rüdiger (31) from Real Madrid, and Niclas Füllkrug (31) and Nico Schlotterbeck (24) from BVB, who will play against each other on Saturday at Wembley Stadium, are also not present at the Thuringia training camp.

That's it. Informal, right? Sounding almost conversational. And it's the same length as the text given. C'est ça. 😊
