From May 15 to June 16, Deutsche Bahn will provide a digital version of the Fan Bahncard 25. This gives you three months of travel with a discount of 25% and costs 19.90 euros for 2nd class or 39.90 euros for 1st class.
What's special about this offer is if the German national team, led by coach Julian Nagelsmann (36), wins the title, your previously purchased Fan Bahncard will be extended for free by an extra year. The company shared this news on Tuesday.
However, you need to cancel the trial Bahncard in writing at least four weeks before it expires, or it will automatically be extended for another year – at a cost of 62.90 euros in 2nd class and 125 euros in 1st class.
Besides the Fan Bahncard 25, Deutsche Bahn also offers the "Euro 2024" DB ticket. Ticket holders can purchase it for a price of 29.90 euros per journey and use it within Germany for Euro Championship matches.
The Euro 2024 tournament will take place from June 14 until July 14. Since then, Deutsche Bahn will be improving its services during the competition and providing almost 10,000 extra seats per day on ICE and IC trains around the dates of the matches. Additionally, there will also be 14 special trains running daily for the Euro 2024.
