First poker victory in Montenegro - German Pockets 1.8 Million Euros

Christopher Frank (age 29) has successfully ended the title drought at the Triton High Roller Series powered by GGPoker, hosted in Montenegro. The renowned German poker player emerged victorious by securing a $100,000 win, which translated to a massive €1.8 million prize. This marks a significant achievement for both the player and Germany, as it has secured the coveted gold medal in the series.

In the past, Samuel Ju, a tech entrepreneur with only 2.5 years of poker experience, drew the attention of many. He amassed around €1.5 million by landing the second spot in one event and taking the sixth place in another. However, Frank has now taken over the title of the leading German winner at the tournament. Furthermore, this triumph signified a personal milestone for Frank, as it surpassed his previous highest live winnings of €350,000.

To give some context, Frank's impressive track record includes cashing out in 59 World Series of Poker events at Las Vegas, winning a gold bracelet. This year, the ambitious player will most likely participate in the Las Vegas poker extravaganza. The largest poker event of the year kicked off on Tuesday in the renowned gambling hub.

Interestingly, Frank wasn't the only German player to take home a considerable amount from the series. Jonas Kronwitter made it to the final table, resulting in a ninth-place finish and a €200,000 cash prize. The tournament comes to a close on Sunday, after which most players will likely head to Vegas.

For those interested in exploring the world of online poker, GGPoker offers an excellent platform. Currently, the "GG World Festival" is underway, with a staggering €250 million in total prize money up for grabs. Numerous daily tournaments are available at stake levels as low as €2.50. Another perk is the chance to secure a ticket to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas (scheduled to begin on May 28th). Each day offers the opportunity to participate in tournaments costing just €1.
