An ex-Las Vegas Raiders player, Henry Ruggs III, has been reportedly working at the Nevada governor's residence while serving his time behind bars.

Ruggs is among a few prisoners who have the privilege of working normal hours at the governor's mansion, where Joe Lombardo - a former Clark County sheriff - resides.

He was assigned to minimum custody, stated a corrections spokesperson for Las Vegas TV station KLAS. This status allows him to work outside of a correctional facility during the day.

Ruggs was ordered to spend at least three years in prison. He was convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) resulting in death and vehicular manslaughter after a fatal accident in 2021 in Las Vegas that left Tina Tintor and her dog dead.

Lawyers claimed Ruggs was driving at a horrific speed of 156 mph before the terrible collision. His blood alcohol content was 0.16%, far exceeding the legal limit of 0.08% in Nevada.

Casino Associated Case: Uncovered in Las Vegas

Las Vegas police have released more information about the body found in April near Eureka Casino.

The body was identified as Robert Rodriguez. Investigators say the body was wrapped in a tarp and had signs of decomposition. Rodriguez passed away due to a gunshot wound to the head, as reported by Las Vegas TV station KTNV.

Rodriguez and his girlfriend had been residing in a tent near the casino, as they were both homeless.

Loth Rodriguez, 67, was jailed in connection with the shooting. He admitted that the shooting was an accident and only meant to scare Robert during a heated argument at his own house.

Loth Rodriguez has been charged with open murder with a deadly weapon. His court date is set for July 11.

Meanwhile, Gennady Zhuravlyon, 48, has also been apprehended. He's being accused of harboring/concealing/aiding a felony offender by moving Rodriguez's body away from the crime scene. Zhuravlyon will have his day in court on Thursday.

Both offenders are currently being housed at the Clark County Detention Center.
