VolksRock'n'Roller jetted off to Nashville - Gabalier's plans regarding Dolly Parton remain unclear.

Once upon a time, a remarkable encounter took place in a recording studio. US icon Dolly Parton (78), known as the godmother of pop star Miley Cyrus (31), unexpectedly met Gabalier while they were both recording at Soundstage Studios.

Gabalier shared, "I was in the studio when Dolly Parton appeared next to me. It was a surreal experience, as she was there at the same time. She's an icon and an incredibly kind woman. I'm a huge fan of hers."

Known for her chart-topping hits like "Jolene" (1973) and "I Will Always Love You" (covered by Whitney Houston, †48, in the blockbuster 'The Bodyguard,' 1992), Parton has also starred in hit movies like "9 to 5" (1980). She also collaborated with Miley Cyrus on the hit series 'Hannah Montana.' Cyrus, like Gabalier, began her career in Nashville, alongside superstar Taylor Swift (34).

Having met his idol, Gabalier's ultimate fantasy is to sing a duet with Dolly Parton. He says, "She released a duet album last year, so for now, it hasn't happened. But who knows? Maybe we'll collaborate at some point. We've already started exchanging ideas."

Despite not achieving his dream just yet, Gabalier left the city with more than just a memorable moment. He recorded his new single, "Meine Liebe bleibt," in the studio and was charged with contagious optimism by the atmosphere. The artist expressed, "The city is full of people flaunting their success, making you feel like anything is possible. Simultaneously, I can roam around anonymously without being bombarded by paparazzi, allowing me to relax and enjoy the surroundings."

Gabalier recorded the new single

In conclusion, Gabalier returned to his home with a fresh outlook, ready to resume his role as a popular artist. The tour kicks off at the beginning of May with a performance in Bad Segeberg on May 25 at the Kalkberg open-air stage.
