Follow-up display - Fürth acquires Frankfurt's Futkeu.
Greuther Fürth has recently signed three new players: Nahuel Noll (goalkeeper, on loan from Hoffenheim), Reno Münz (defender, Leverkusen), and Matti Wagner (defender, 1st FC Köln). Now, they have added a striker to the roster.
The club has announced that Noel Futkeu (21), a forward from Bundesliga side Frankfurt, has signed a long-term contract with them. This season, Futkeu has scored 16 goals and delivered 8 assists in 27 appearances for Eintracht's reserve team.
The current formation of Fürth is: Urbig; Meyerhöfer, Jung, Gießelmann; Asta, Wagner, Consbruch, Lemperle; Hrgota; Sieb, Srbeny.
Sieb, the striker for Greuther Fürth, is rumored to be on the radar of Belgian club Ghent. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri on "X" (previously Twitter), Sieb is one of five players Ghent is interested in. Furth seems to be prepared for his departure, as they have already started looking for a replacement.
Coach Alexander Zorniger (56) commented on the speculation surrounding Sieb last week, saying, "If Armindo were still here next year, we might not have done everything right. He has made a great development." This implies that the club is ready to let Sieb go.
