Peak season in Stuttgart - Führich will attend the European Championship.
Chris Führich (age 26) scored eight goals and provided seven assists for VfB Stuttgart in this season, earning him a spot on the left wing for the German national team at the European Championships this summer. Nagelsmann, the coach of the German team at the age of 36, officially nominated him after being impressed by his performance. This follows his debut with the national team in a 3-1 victory against the USA back in October.
Not only Führich has been selected; others like chief defender Waldemar Anton (27), defender Maximilian Mittelstädt (27), and goal-scoring machine Deniz Undav (27) from VfB Stuttgart have similar aspirations and may also become mainstays in the national team during the upcoming European Championships.
