BetMGM Takes Over as Sponsor for Darts Premier League 2024, Starting Post-World Championship

As stated in an article on the iGB portal [English link], BetMGM will team up with the Darts Premier League following the Darts World Championship 2024.

The main events of the Darts Premier League will take place primarily in the UK and Ireland. Leading up to the playoffs, additional matches will be held in Rotterdam and Berlin. Matt Porter, PDC Managing Director, expressed his thoughts on the upcoming partnership with BetMGM and the upcoming Premier League:

The Premier League will reach a substantial live audience and an extensive global TV audience over a four-month period. We're thrilled to have BetMGM on board as our new title sponsor. This year marks the 20th edition of the Premier League, which is highly anticipated as the entertainment standard at all PDC events has consistently improved over the past 12 months. As we enter the third year of the eight-player knockout format, we're excited to collaborate with BetMGM to promote such a comprehensive event. BetMGM Expands in the UK

As the new title sponsor of the Darts Premier League, BetMGM broadens its horizons in the UK. In 2023, BetMGM established a partnership with the English Premier League club Newcastle United [English link].

Since the start of the collaboration, numerous BetMGM promotional banners have been visible at St. James' Park in Newcastle. Furthermore, BetMGM enlisted the services of American comedian, actor, and filmmaker Chris Rock to conduct marketing campaigns in the UK.

The Darts Premier League will also feature online casinos, as BetMGM, the new title sponsor, is known for its online casino offerings, making it accessible to a wide audience in Germany and beyond.

With BetMGM's expansion in the UK, German players like Ricardo Pietreczko, despite their talent, may not participate in the BetMGM Darts Premier League due to its focus on the UK and Ireland events, but they can still enjoy online casino games offered by BetMGM.
