Man shouts on the field: European Championship could be at risk? - For a Bayern Munich star, a knee issue arises!

Kingsley Coman, the star player for Bayern, was on the road to a comeback after a muscle tear in his right adductor five and a half weeks earlier. It seemed likely that he would be fit in time for the European Championship in Germany.

However, things took a turn for the worse. France national team coach Didier Deschamps had already included Coman in his squad, but now his participation in the tournament is at risk again.

Coman's knee trouble

Kingsley Coman went down and immediately held his left knee

During his rehab training at Säbener Straße on Whit Monday, the winger sustained a knee injury. While running, he twisted his left leg while innocently dribbling to relax.

Coman let out a loud scream. His cries of pain could be heard across the entire training ground.

Coman's face was immediately contorted in pain

He collapsed to the ground, holding his left knee and writhing in agony. His face was contorted in pain.

Rehab coach Simon Martinello rushed over to examine the knee. Six minutes later, team doctor Dr. Jochen Hahne, a doctor for both Bayern and the German Football Association (DFB), came onto the pitch. Thankfully, Hahne was at the training session on the holiday.

Hahne examined the knee for injuries to the inner and outer ligaments and the cruciate ligament. He then helped the star to his feet. Although in pain, Coman wiped his face and walked with assistance into the changing room.

It's sad to say that this isn't the first time Coman has had trouble with his left knee. On January 27, in a match against Augsburg (3:2), he tore his inner ligament and required surgery, followed by two months of rehab. And now? We can only hope he hasn't torn something again.

At the end of the season party, Coman was in a great mood because of his upcoming return after dealing with four injuries throughout this season (including a fiber tear in his right calf and one muscular issue) and his personal happiness (he's becoming a father again).

Now, this knee incident and concerns over his availability for the European Championship have cast a shadow over his happiness. He missed out on the title in the 2018 World Cup due to a syndesmosis tear.
