Opel vehicle collides with a tree directly. - Five-year-old Child suffers severe injuries
An unfortunate incident occurred on the weekend, around 4 PM, on the B199 highway from Anklam, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, heading towards A20. An Opel vehicle was driven off course by its 56-year-old driver for unclear reasons, crashing into a tree.
This led to severe injuries for the passengers - a 55-year-old woman and a 5-year-old child - both taken to the Greifswald University Hospital for treatment. A rescue helicopter was brought into action as well.
The crash scene had to be closed off for approximately two hours. The total cost of the property damage was estimated to be 12,500 euros by the police.
