Climatic Conditions - Farewell to April in Saxony: temperatures reaching 28.3 degrees.
April's moody weather in Saxony concluded with scorching temperatures. Some areas experienced warmer temperatures on Tuesday than ever before on April 30th, as reported by the German Weather Service's preliminary readings.
Bad Muskau recorded the highest temperature of 28.3 degrees, while Klitzschen near Torgau set a new record at 28.1 degrees and Leipzig-Holzhausen reached 28.0 degrees. The only place that failed to hit 20 degrees was Fichtelberg, which measured a chilly 18.7 degrees.
Things are expected to stay warm in the upcoming days. The DWD predicts sunny and dry skies for May 1st, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 27 degrees in the plains and 18 to 24 degrees in the mountains – perfect weather for a relaxing break.
