Hannover 96 receives promotional support. - Ezeh joined the team, while Gindorf won't return.

As winners of the Regionalliga Nord, they're set for two decisive matches against the Bayern champions, Würzburg, for a spot in the third division. The first match is on May 29 in Würzburg, with the second one on June 2 at Hanover's WM-Arena. Over 10,000 tickets have been sold so far.

Now, we know which players, with the goalkeeper Leo Weinkauf (27) and veteran Julian Börner (33), will be joining in their quest for promotion.

Brooklyn Ezeh is on board!

Brooklyn Ezeh (22), a left-back acquired from Wiesbaden last year, is set to join. Ezeh had a challenging first season in the 2nd division, spending almost four months out due to mental issues. Ultimately, he made only two starting eleven appearances and a total of twelve appearances for coach Stefan Leitl (46).

Kolja Oudenne (22), an attacking midfielder bought from Altglienicke last year, is returning to the U23s for these two games. Oudenne was initially meant for the U23s but was quickly promoted to the pros and played 13 times in the second division.

Lars Gindorf (22), a striker and U23 captain, is not playing. He recently became a regular for Leitl in the second division and started in five games in a row (scoring two goals). Gindorf, who has a professional contract, prefers taking a break and preparing for his first full season in the second division.

Champion coach Daniel Stendel (50) is without his most successful goalscorer. Gindorf scored 21 goals in 22 fourth division games before his promotion.

And there's one last thing: will loan player Christopher Scott (21) be included? The attacking midfielder scored twice in his last two appearances for the U23s but had to be subbed off after 60 minutes in the 2-0 loss at St. Pauli II with muscle issues.

The decision will depend on the final diagnosis and will be made in the next few days.
