RWE's upcoming addition - Ex-Eintracht player joins Erfurt team

Lars Kleiner (19) hails from Viktoria Aschaffenburg and has played regularly in the Bavarian fourth division for the past season, making 32 appearances and scoring 3 goals. He's now set to bolster RWE on the right wing.

Kleiner began his football journey at Eintracht Frankfurt's academy before moving to Aschaffenburg post-U-19 level. His new deal in Erfurt will keep him here until the summer of 2026. RWE's boss, Franz Gerber (70), has nothing but praise for the young flier, calling him "a very promising player."

So, what convinced Kleiner about Erfurt? He remarks, "Their rich tradition and incredible fanbase." He adds, "The professionalism here really stood out to me. I'm ready to progress further, and I believe Erfurt is the perfect place for me to do so."
