Evolution brings live game show 'Crazy Time' to New Jersey online casinos
Evolution is bringing its popular live game show "Crazy Time" to New Jersey.
Evolution, a Sweden-based interactive B2B game developer specializing in live dealer games, launched Crazy Time in the Garden State on Tuesday. Live gaming shows are hugely popular overseas, but this marks the product's rise in the United States.
Crazy Time is Evolution's world-leading online live game show, combining the gameplay of Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right in one live betting program. Players bet that the roulette wheel will land on numbers and can participate in separate side games with bonus bets.
Crazy Time is a live multi-camera game show hosted by a live host. Gameplay revolves around a spinning wheel and four interactive bonus games: Cash Hunt, Coin Flip, Pinball and Crazy Time Wheel Bonus.
In the main game, bettors bet on one of four numbers: 1, 2, 5 or 10. The wheel spins and if it lands on the player's corresponding number, they win and increase their bet to 25x. Multipliers are based on individual slot machine spins.
Bonus bets occur when the roulette wheel lands on the game of the player's choice. Then the bonus round begins, where players can win incredible prizes of up to 10,000x their stake.
New Jersey iGaming Website
Evolution provides Live Dealer Games to several online casinos operating in New Jersey, including DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, Caesars Palace Online Casino and BetRivers Casino. Evolution operates a live dealer studio in Atlantic City, where players 21 and older in the state can access the tables remotely.
Evolution North America CEO Jacob Claesson said the debut of the live game show is a "breakthrough start" for the company.
Operators and players around the world have praised Mad Time for its incredibly high production values, its commitment to entertainment and deep engagement, and the sheer fun and joy it provides players. “We are extremely pleased that U.S. players can now experience a game that has made such an impact in the live casino space,” said Clayson.
Evolution has yet to reveal whether Crazy Time will be available on its four partner iGaming platforms. An email sent by Evolution seeking clarification went unanswered.
Live games are expanding
Online casino gambling is legal in only six states. In addition to New Jersey, iGaming is regulated in Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, and Connecticut.
Online slots and table games bring the casino home, allowing players to play anywhere with a secure internet connection. The iGaming platform also dabbles in innovative products such as "Crazy Hours" that are not commonly found at Atlantic City's nine land-based casinos.
“The Crazy Times bonus game in particular revolutionizes how to play casino games and enjoy them in a more interactive way,” added Clayson.
New Jersey is the richest online gambling state in the country. As of October, the state's online casinos had won more than $1.57 billion from remote gamblers.
