ZTE Unveils Eight AI and 6G Breakthroughs at MWC Barcelona 2026

ZTE Corporation will take part in MWC Barcelona 2026 from March 2 to 5, showcasing its latest innovations under the theme Creating an Intelligent Future. The company plans to reveal eight major breakthroughs in network technology, AI platforms, and computing infrastructure.

Visitors can find ZTE’s exhibits at booth 3F30 in Hall 3, Fira Gran Via. At the event, ZTE will highlight its upgraded Connectivity + Computing strategy, driven by the vision All in AI, AI for All. One key focus is the AIR MAX platform—a 10-block AI stack that supports a three-tier architecture for mobile networks. This system aims to enhance efficiency and intelligence in wireless communication.

Another standout innovation is the GigaMIMO, the world’s first 6G prototype. It features over 2,000 antenna elements in the U6G band, promising a tenfold capacity boost compared to 5G-Advanced. Meanwhile, the 200G PON prototype marks an industry first, enabling multi-ONU burst-mode upstream speeds of up to 200 Gbps.

For computing infrastructure, ZTE will present SuperPOD, an advanced design with an Orthogonal Electrical eXchange architecture. Its zero-cable setup supports up to 128 GPUs in a single rack, improving scalability and performance. The AI Mid-Screen device will also debut as the first of its kind, offering Dual-Brain Dual-Screen functionality and full-domain intelligent connectivity.

Additionally, ZTE’s Co-Sight AI Agent Studio will be showcased for its ability to create secure, industrial-grade AI agents. These tools are designed to meet the demands of enterprise and industrial applications with high reliability and precision. ZTE’s participation at MWC Barcelona 2026 will demonstrate its push toward smarter, faster, and more efficient technologies. The eight announced breakthroughs span AI, networking, and computing, reflecting the company’s commitment to shaping future digital infrastructure. Attendees can explore these innovations firsthand at booth 3F30 in Hall 3.
