Zolder's 24-hour Race, edition 5
In a thrilling race at the 24 Hours of Zolder in 2025, the Redant Racing team emerged victorious with their Porsche 992 GT3 Cup #93. The team, led by Kenneth Heyer, Yannick Redant, Ayrton Redant, Kobe De Breucker, and Dylan Pereira, held onto their lead throughout the race to secure the win.
The second-place spot was taken by the #15 team, which included Glenn Van Parijs, Robin Knutsson, Cรฉdric Wauters, Bertrand Baguette, and Laurens Vanthoor. Bertrand Baguette, who led the team, was gracious in defeat, acknowledging the winning team had been stronger.
The #59 team, with Nicolas Saelens, David Saelens, Lars Zaenen, Sam Dejonghe, and Florian Latorre, finished in third place. Despite a strong performance, technical issues caused the #11 team, with Peter Guelinckx, Nicolas Guelinckx, Stiene Longin, Matisse Lismont, to fall back significantly, resulting in a disappointing thirteenth-place finish.
The race saw an impressive showing from Porsche 992 GT3 Cup vehicles, with the top seven places being occupied by these vehicles. The #93 Porsche, driven by the winning team, demonstrated consistent performance and a well-executed strategy to build a lead early in the race.
The race was attended by 35,000 spectators and was marked by an incredible atmosphere, according to team manager Harry Steegmans. He also praised the hard work and dedication of the RedAnt Racing team, thanking them for the great car and the great atmosphere.
Kenneth Heyer, the team's leader, expressed his satisfaction with the win, which was his fifth 24h-Zolder victory. He also shared that he had previously won the race in 2013 with Bert Redant.
