Youth soccer teams U21, U17, and U15 score three victories
In the world of football, there were some exciting moments this week as various teams from Hanse Kickers and the U17 squad took to the field.
Let's start with the U17 team, coached by the duo of Antonella Monopoli and Kevin Reiner, who secured their first away win in the Regionalliga Nord. In an impressive performance, they defeated SV Curslack-Neuengamme 2:1. Maksymilian Lazarowski scored the second goal for the team at the 60th minute after a strategic substitution by coach Alper Gürsoy. Neven Schmidt opened the scoring with a spectacular volley from 14 meters in the 2nd minute, following a pass from Christian Agu. However, the team faced a setback as goalkeeper Alexander Ludwig was sent off with a red card at the 80th minute plus 4 for a foul on Neven Schmidt.
Meanwhile, the U15 team is making steady progress. They secured their first league win of the season, defeating USC Paloma 1:0. Leart Etemaj scored the only goal for the team at the 37th minute with a penalty after Oguz Usta was fouled. The team also managed a successful test at Lohmühle, winning 2:0 against JFV Lübeck on Sunday.
The U15 team's next match is against SC Borgfeld next Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 12:30 PM.
Over in the Holstein Landesliga, the Hanse Kickers U21 team is currently in 3rd place with 11 points from the first five games. They had a convincing 4:2 victory over SC Rönnau in an away game under coach Oliver Stutzky. Elias Al-Saadi scored the first goal for Hanse Kickers U21 at the 9th minute, followed by Kevin Voeks' goal at the 17th minute. Ramiz Demir and Mika Lehnfeld added to the scoreline with goals at the 36th and 41st minutes respectively. The team also managed a win against SC Rönnau with goals from Janick Loose at the 58th minute and Sadjo Fati at the 74th minute.
Unfortunately, the U14 and U16 teams had a tougher weekend. The U14 team lost a friendly match 1:4 to Heider SV on Saturday, while the U16 team lost both of their friendly matches over the weekend, losing 1:6 to Eimsbütteler TV and 0:2 to SC Victoria Hamburg.
In other news, Marko Stoliar had to leave the field early due to a yellow-red card at the 86th minute, and Gustavo Melo was sent off with a red card at the same minute.
These results show the high level of competition within Hanse Kickers and the U17 squad, with each team showing determination and skill in their respective matches.
