Young runner on the track forces Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to suddenly slow down
On a Friday afternoon, a 17-year-old from Berlin disrupted train traffic between Vorsfelde and Wolfsburg for approximately 45 minutes. The incident occurred near the Aller Bridge, causing an ICE train to emergency brake.
The teenager's presence on the tracks forced the train driver to initiate the emergency brake to prevent a potential collision. As a result, many passengers were affected by the closure of the tracks.
The 17-year-old was walking along the train tracks towards Wolfsburg Central Station when he stepped onto the tracks, causing the train traffic to come to a standstill for about an hour initially.
The police were called to the scene and successfully removed the teenager from the danger zone. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
