Young LP song set for a comeback after a decade

The La Salle-Peru Township High School Sports Complex will be undergoing a significant renovation project, with the track set to be closed for approximately four weeks starting on September 15.

During this period, the track will be completely resurfaced, a crucial step in ensuring its longevity and safety for years to come. The renovation project, which includes various works, is expected to be completed by October.

The track, which is 12 years old, has been due for a renovation for some time now. The school district's athletic department or facilities management will oversee the maintenance and reconstruction of the track and the interior field.

This closure means that the track will be unavailable for public use for about four weeks. However, the good news is that it will re-open to the public in October, allowing students, athletes, and community members to once again enjoy its facilities.

The La Salle-Peru Township High School Sports Complex has always been a hub of activity for the community, and this renovation project is a testament to the school district's commitment to maintaining high-quality facilities for all to enjoy.

Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this renovation project, and we look forward to the re-opening of the track in October.
