Yota subscribers in Yakutia now have the ability to swap mobile phone plans with their companions
Yota and MegaFon Introduce Tariff-Sharing Services
In a move to enhance customer convenience, telecommunications companies Yota and MegaFon have launched tariff-sharing services. This new feature allows existing customers to share their mobile plans with friends and family, expanding the reach and utility of their tariffs.
Yota's Managing Director, Dmitry Chudensnikov, has stated that customers appreciate the low cost and optimal configuration of Yota's tariffs. He believes that the tariff-sharing service will further enhance customer satisfaction, as it offers a practical solution for those who wish to share their mobile plans with loved ones.
The service is available for any voice tariff in any region, making it accessible to all Yota customers. A resident of Tyumen, for instance, can share their tariff with a friend in Sochi, allowing them to enjoy the same benefits.
Each Yota customer can create up to five copies of a tariff, enabling them to share it with multiple individuals. The shared tariff can be used for a second number, work, or multiple devices, offering flexibility to the users.
MegaFon has also joined the bandwagon, launching a similar service in the Far East regions. This service, like Yota's, is free for existing MegaFon customers.
It's important to note that the promotional code for this service is valid for 50 days. If the code is not used within this period, it is automatically returned to the owner.
While the exact identity of the Yota Managing Director who introduced the new tariff-sharing feature is not explicitly stated in the search results, Anton Prokopenko, who has been involved in business projects technical management at Yota, is noted as a potential candidate. However, his current role and direct involvement with the tariff-sharing feature remain unconfirmed.
This development marks a significant step forward in the telecommunications industry, as it aims to provide customers with more flexibility and cost-effectiveness in managing their mobile plans.
