YATEK's 2025 success and 2026 ambitions take center stage in Yakutia talks

YATEK PJSC, the republic's top independent gas producer, held its annual working meeting with Aisen Nikolayev, Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), on February 6, 2026. The discussions centred on the company's strong performance in 2025 and its strategic plans for the year ahead.

During the meeting, officials reviewed YATEK's preliminary financial and operational results for 2025. The company surpassed its production and commercial targets, ensuring steady profitability and a reliable gas supply. It also increased tax payments to budgets at all levels while maintaining a high credit rating.

In 2025, YATEK invested heavily in Kysyl-Syr, funding infrastructure, education, culture, and charity projects. A new multifunctional centre was built in the settlement, expanding its social infrastructure. The company also completed an 8 MW energy complex, improving power reliability for its production sites. Looking forward, YATEK plans to modernise its reserve equipment fleet in 2026 to boost industrial safety and operational resilience. The focus will remain on finishing ongoing projects and launching new initiatives under its long-term development programme.

The meeting highlighted YATEK's role as a systemically important enterprise for the republic. With completed projects in 2025 and new plans for 2026, the company continues to support regional development while reinforcing its position in the gas sector. No public data is available on the broader impacts of these investments on Kysyl-Syr's quality of life or economic growth.
