Yakutsk City to Reveal Victor of the Local "Mama-Entrepreneur" Competition
In the heart of Yakutia, a federal program named "Mom-Entrepreneur" is making a significant impact, fostering a community of ambitious and talented women who are transforming the lives of their families and the entire republic. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, is part of the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
Recently, thirty participants underwent intensive training in entrepreneurship, covering topics such as developing a business model, financial planning, and marketing. The training was a part of the program's educational program, during which Sber experts discussed financial products and services designed to support small and medium-sized businesses at all stages of their development.
Oleg Bugai, the head of Sberbank's Yakut branch, emphasised the bank's commitment to providing not only financial tools but also expert knowledge to help women-led startups become successful businesses.
One of the standout success stories from the training is Sardana Hon, who won a competition for creating documentary family films. Her project, titled "About You. About Us. About Them", is focused on preserving traditions and strengthening family values. Sardana's work aims to create family heirlooms that preserve precious memories for future generations.
The main prize for Sardana Hon was a grant of 150,000 rubles for business development. Alongside this, she is currently working on three films as part of her project.
The grant is not the only support Sardana Hon's project receives. The "Mom-Entrepreneur" program offers assistance to women-led startups that focus on preserving traditions and strengthening family values.
At the end of the training, participants showcased diverse projects, including pottery workshops, pastry workshops, children's development spaces, toys for learning the Yakut language, and more. These initiatives reflect the program's success in inspiring and empowering women to start their own businesses.
The federal program "Mom-Entrepreneur" has been implemented since 2013 and continues to make a positive impact in Yakutia, fostering a thriving community of women-led startups. Oleg Bugai, the head of the Sberbank branch in the Moscow region, reiterated the bank's commitment to supporting such initiatives and helping women-led startups become successful businesses.
