Yakut Hydrometeorological Center predicts a shift from cold to warm weather in Yakutia
In the vast expanse of Yakutia, a cold air mass known as the "ultra-polar intrusion" is making its way through the Arctic coast, Verkhoyansk region, central and western regions, and towards the Sea of Okhotsk. This phenomenon, according to Tatiana Marshalik, the head of Yakutia's Hydrometeorological Center, is expected to bring typical weather changes, including a drop in temperature and gusty winds up to 15 meters per second.
Despite this impending cold snap, Tatiana Marshalik forecasts that the summer temperature in Yakutia for the coming July will be above average. However, next week, the western part of Yakutia will experience very hot weather, with temperatures reaching 30-35°C and above. By the second half of next week, Yakutsk can expect hot weather, with temperatures above 30°C.
The central region of Yakutia will also feel the chill this week, with temperatures dropping from around 22-27°C to 16-21°C. This drop in temperature is expected to continue in Yakutia until the end of the week.
Despite these fluctuations, it's too early to make predictions for the entire summer, according to Tatiana Marshalik. Preliminary forecasts suggest that July will be hot, at or above normal temperatures.
The Yakutsk Hydrometeorological Center has issued a sudden cold snap followed by a heatwave forecast for most of Yakutia over the next two weeks. The hot weather will gradually spread to the central regions of Yakutia.
It's important to note that the article does not mention the use of any specific social media platforms in relation to the weather forecast for Yakutia. However, the forecast is being widely disseminated across various platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, VKontakte, Classmates, and Twitter.
In conclusion, residents of Yakutia are advised to prepare for a sudden drop in temperature this week, followed by a heatwave in the coming days. It's a reminder of the unpredictable nature of weather patterns, especially in the far north. Stay tuned for updates from the Yakutsk Hydrometeorological Center as we monitor this developing situation.
