The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Xiaomi prepares to unveil its latest flagship offering, the Xiaomi 15T series. According to reports from Notebookcheck, the global debut of these devices is scheduled for September 24.

Two models are expected to be part of the Xiaomi 15T series: the Xiaomi 15T Pro and the vanilla variant. The Pro model is rumoured to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 90W wired fast charging, while the standard variant may feature 67W fast charging support.

Both models are expected to boast a Leica-tuned triple rear camera system, with the primary sensor being a 50 MP OmniVision OVX9100. The system also includes a 13 MP ultra-wide camera and a 50 MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens with 5x zoom. The Xiaomi 15T Pro is even said to have a periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, equivalent to 115 mm.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is also rumoured to have a flat OLED panel with a high refresh rate, although specific details about the display and front camera have yet to be revealed. The standard Xiaomi 15T is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is anticipated to use the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, positioning it as a formidable competitor in the flagship space. This, coupled with its mix of Leica-backed cameras, MediaTek's latest processors, and premium design, suggests that Xiaomi is aiming to make a strong impact in the market.

However, no information has been provided on where the devices will be available for purchase. Keep an eye on Xiaomi's official channels for more details as we near the official launch. The announcement was made via X, formerly Twitter.
